Today we listened to "The Gruffalo"
by Julia Donaldson.
Ms Olney asked us to listen really carefully to the story and see if we could identify all the "Describing Words"
of the what a Gruffalo looks like.
This is what we came up with:
- Poisonous wart at the end of his nose.
- Turned out toes
- Terribly sharp claws
- Orange eyes
- Brown fur
- Purple prickles on his back
- Terrible teeth
- Black tongue
After we had described the Gruffalo, Ms Olney showed us the story. We did a great job and were pretty spot on!
