Week 5

We go to the library on a Tuesday afternoon and a Thursday morning.  We love looking at the picture books and getting books with CD's out to take home and share with our families.

This week we celebrated World Environment Day...
Our school's Enviro Group have been sharing their knowledge and doing some planting around the school.
We are so excited to see what comes up from bulbs that have been planted...will they be tulips or daffodils or something else??

In Room 9 we read a book called...
"10 Things I Can Do to Help My World"

We went on a hunt around our class to see what we do to save the world!

We tidy up the class so it is safe...

We put the paper in the recycling bin...

So it can be made into something else...

We reuse paper and make it into other things like paper planes or drawing...

We reuse boxes and other things from home for our Discovery Time...

We use both sides of the paper and we put spare paper in the reusing tray...

We turn off the lights when we are not in the room...

We put paper in the green recycling bin if we can't use it again...

We put rubbish in the bin, so that our class is clean and safe...

What do you do at home to help save the world??  Let us know in the comment box below!
