Week 1

Wow, we had a busy first week back at school! 

We have welcomed some new friends to our class...Rhiannon, Trinity and Jayden. 

This week we had some new and exciting experiences...we took risks and learned new things...check out our "LETTER OF THE WEEK", "READING" AND "TE REO" pages for more information!

This week we had our first hockey session...it was so much fun.  We had to learn to persevere and be resilient when things didn't go how we would have liked.

Check out our  pictures...we were learning to dribble the ball.  We had to keep the stick close to the grass and the ball in contact with the stick as much as possible.

We have some naturals in our class!

We also got together in our Whanau Houses this week to create chalk pictures...it was so much fun and really messy, we had a great time creating and checking out the competition.  Below are some photos of us with the pictures we created with the other members of our houses.

We were learning about the letter M this week.  

We read a book called "The Monster at the End of this Book", Ms Olney said it was a real classic. 

We had to predict what the monster looked like.

This week we have added some hearts to our Compliments Jar because we made great choices in the wet whether when we had to stay inside at playtime and lunchtime, some of the teachers left us compliments on the board...Ms Olney was so proud of us...she didn't doubt it for a minute!!!!
