Week 5

Today we celebrated 120 days at school with our friends in our syndicate.  We did lots of activities to do with teddy bears and before lunch we counted all our teddies!  We then went down to the playground to have a
"Teddy Bear's Picnic"...
it was a great day full of lots of excitement and sharing.

In our class we read teddy bear stories, coloured in bears, wrote a description about our own bears and then we made teddy bear racing cars!  We used mini moros, tiny teddies and pebbles...we had to persevere to get the wheels to stay on...we couldn't wait to go home and eat them!

We then went out with our syndicate to count up all our bears...
we had 12 groups of 10...that is 120!
Woweeeeee...that's a lot of teddy bears!

Here we are having a picnic together...even Mr Schon came to visit us.

We made super cute teddies however we missed our 5 friends that were away today :o(

Week 4

On Friday we made Ms Olney
soooooooooo proud!
She was super impressed by how quickly and calmly we got under the tables and stayed there until it was safe to come out!

Today we went outside to some of our favourite places and had some little drills about where to go if we are outside without an adult.
We were very cute but safe turtles!

We are being terrific turtles
We are playing on the playground...
...oh no an earthquake!!!!
We ran quickly and calmly to our safe spot...

Drop and Cover
Now we are playing on the top field, whats that...an earthquake?!?...
...Drop and Cover and keep away from the buildings and trees!
We often eat our morning tea on the snail...
...this is what we would do if an earthquake happened at morning tea time.
This is our evacuation point...we come here when it is safe to move and the teachers will be able to check we are ok and all here!

Term 3 Week 3

On Friday we went down to Premier Preschool to donate money to the
"Cure Kids Red Nose Day".

Our Premier Preschool friends looked fantastic...they were all dressed in red and so was the classroom and their teachers.

On Friday we had 22 children so we decided to donate 50c each...so that was $11 all together...
22 x .50 = 11

Check out the photos!
